da Bass

Please give a big, warm Shredding Flannel welcome to our newest member: Scott da Bass Harvey!

Don’t call it a comeback… but okay, maybe do. After a few years off the stage to focus on family life and the “other” career, Scott “da Bass” Harvey is dusting off the flannel and jumping back into the rock arena—because let’s be honest, pivot tables don’t slap like a bass groove.

Most recently spotted thumping low-end with Twin Cities band Rhino (2017–2018), Scott previously laid down the groove full-time in the Cincinnati music scene for over a decade with acts like Spent, Billy Rock, Paul Otten, and The Touchables. That rock ’n’ roll journey took a detour when corporate life brought him back to the land of lutefisk and long winters: Minnesota.

Now rocking the foundation for Shredding Flannel, Scott brings his signature blend of punchy tone and grungy nostalgia to every show. The band’s 90s repertoire? It’s the exact stuff he used to line up for at midnight CD releases—back when music came with liner notes and questionable fashion choices. These Gen X jams still hit hard, and Scott’s on a mission to keep them alive, loud, and low.
