Brian Barringer
Like most drummers, I put in many years of intense air drumming before I finally sat behind a real kit around my 15th birthday. Not long after, I was drumming in a high school garage band, but life soon took over. College, starting a career, getting married, and raising a family led to a 20-year hiatus from playing.
In the mid-2000s, I remembered just how much fun drumming was and decided to give it another shot. I joined my first proper band, and I've been a part of the Twin Cities cover band scene ever since, playing with numerous local groups over the years. I like to play all types of music but mostly I'm a rock guy but also have played country as well because it's all fun. Now, I’m thrilled to keep it going and bring the beat with Shredding Flannel!
